Intro

Hello all, I am going to try a new layout for this journal so bear with me. I would also like to say that I will soon have at least seven new deviations in the coming weeks, some are from what I had done last year in school, while others shall be a bit newer. Stay tuned for more news and announcements.

Announcements

Those measly deviations are not the only thing I have been working on. After the first batch of deviations, I will release a tease for my new guitar collection. In the series, some of my old guitar sketches will be used, but computerized, and will include full specs in the description of the guitars. I will also upload the others sketches that have been found after I got done cleaning out some drawers. The releases will go sketches, then tease, then logo, and then final versions of the guitars in various colors. I will also be working on mock adverts for music related companies.

The next new series I am working on is a series of different styles of clothing and merch that should hopefully be made available sometime in the future. These items include hats, sunglasses, t-shirts, shirts, jackets, pants, as well as wallets, necklaces, and crazy rings that will tie in to guitar. Promotional ads will also be released based on certain groupings of the clothing.

I have also been working on a few different resources from my writings and graphics. The lit resources will include covers and objects that are essential to certain stories such as logos, weapons, maps, etc. Graphic resources will include various fonts I create when making certain pieces.

The next thing I wish to talk about is my setups for my live guitar rig, studio guitar rig, and my overall studio setup. This includes pedal boards which contain custom pedals that I have been working on for the past few months, more details to come.

            I have been in talks with some other deviants and wish to do a magazine or newsletter type project here on dA for our watchers. This will give tips, news, and promote new releases, along with some other cool stuff, but it is only in the planning stages.

            Next on this lengthy list, I would like to announce that I will soon be releasing prints of some of my artwork. The prints will not contain any watermarks and they should be for sale at a reasonable price.

            The biggest thing I wish to announce is that I will soon have my own one room art studio. I am going to move in soon and start working through the masses of projects that I have accumulated. This will allow me to do more in the studio rather than in my cramped bedroom. I will upload plans and pictures when it is done. Unfortunately though, this means that deviations may be delayed during the move, but I am working on stockpiling so that it isn’t too bad.

News

            The first bit of news I have for all of you is that I have updated the mock website layout, and shall have one more update on it before I am finished and can begin coding the homepage ([link]). While I am coding that, I will work on previews for the other pages on the site and will upload them as time goes on. Hopefully the previews will be done by the end of summer.

            Dieneta is the next thing I wish to talk about. I have been delayed for quite awhile, but that is because of the graphic resources I have been working on for the series, such as the folder cover in my gallery along with much more advanced items. Have no fear, scene four is still being written, but these graphic resources will improve the series.

            Speaking of writing, I am working on a weekly release schedule to accommodate both my writing and art, and on one last music related note (see what I did there?) I will soon be finished upgrading my PRS to make it my own. That is all.
